Six times profit
Return
Access to capital and commercial and/or management experience are major obstacles that prevent Ghana's farmers to invest in palm oil plantations. Investments in good seeds and seedlings and agricultural development are crucial elements to improve the average productivity, and thus the revenues, of a plantation.
Investing in properly managed palm oil farms does not only imply certain expected returns, but means also investing in the environment, health, employment, poverty reduction and Ghana's economy.
Socio-commercial engagement
The goal of APD is to help transform the Ghanaian agricultural sector and to ensure that agricultural productivity and product quality will meet the demands for local use and international markets. This will lead to an improvement in efficiency and living conditions for the local farmers and community.
